大同市地處中國(guó)山西省北部，為山西省第二大城市、國(guó)家區(qū)域重點(diǎn)城市、國(guó)家歷史文化名城、中國(guó)大古都。大同現(xiàn)轄4區(qū)6縣和1個(gè)國(guó)家級(jí)經(jīng)濟(jì)技術(shù)開發(fā)區(qū)，占地面積1.41萬(wàn)平方公里，常住人口310萬(wàn)。大同的名稱與由來(lái)蘊(yùn)含著豐富的歷史和文化底蘊(yùn)。大同是“文旅之城”“能源之城”“算力之城”，先后榮獲國(guó)家新能源示范城市、中國(guó)優(yōu)秀旅游城市、國(guó)家園林城市、全國(guó)性交通樞紐城市、中國(guó)雕塑之都、中國(guó)十佳運(yùn)動(dòng)休閑城市、國(guó)際美食之都等榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)。
Located in northern Shanxi Province, Datong is the second largest city of Shanxi Province. Datong is a national regional central city, one of the Historic and Ancient Cities of China, and one of the ten Ancient Capital Cities of China. Datong consists of 4 districts and 6 counties and one national-level economic and technological zone. Covering an area of 14,100 square kilometers, it has a population of 3.1 million. The name of the city ‘Datong’ has a profound historical and cultural context. Datong is a culture and tourism city, a new energy city and a digital economy city. Datong has the distinction of being a National New Energy Model City, a Top Tourist City of China, a National Garden City, a National Comprehensive Transport-hub City, a Sculpture Capital of China, a Top 10 Sports and Leisure City of China, an International Gourmet City etc.
